POSKOTA.CO.ID – In an effort to realize equal access to basic education and support the compulsory preschool education policy, the Government through the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education will officially expand the scope of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) starting in 2026.
This expansion targets students at the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) and Kindergarten (TK) levels. Based on the ministry’s official announcement, every kindergarten/PAUD child who meets the requirements will receive educational assistance of IDR 450,000 per year.
The initial allocation for the program in the launch year is targeted to reach 888,000 kindergarten students from low-income families.
However, the final details regarding the budget, the exact number of recipients, and the disbursement schedule may still undergo adjustments in accordance with ministerial decisions and the determination of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

- Coordination with School: Submit the documents and communicate with the school so that the child’s name can be proposed as a potential recipient.
- Monitor Status: Check the status of the proposal via notification from the school or the social assistance checking channel provided by the local government.
