Residents of Pondok Kelor Complain about the Impact of the PT BBI Project

MediaBantenCyber.co.id – (MBC) Tangerang Regency, Residents of Pondok Kelor Village, East Sepatan District, Tangerang Regency, came to the Tangerang Regency DPRD to convey eight demands that they had mutually agreed upon at the Public Hearing Meeting (RDP), Thursday (26/2/2026).

This demand was conveyed by residents’ unrest which was allegedly caused by construction activities carried out by PT Bumi Bandara Indah (BBI) for the Asthara Sky Front City housing cluster in Pondok Kelor Village.

Residents of Pondok Kelor asked for the cracked walls of their houses to be repaired, allegedly due to vibrations and the loud sound of driving concrete pillars, and to make a water channel one meter wide to prevent flooding during the rainy season.

Apart from that, Pondok Kelor residents asked PT BBI project activities to use modern equipment so that there was no noise, and Pondok Kelor residents asked PT BBI or Asthara Sky Front City to issue a CSR for the community.

Pondok Kelor resident, Igor, said that PT BBI had to repair the cracked walls of the residents’ houses which were thought to be due to the impact of the PT BBI project. Apart from that, Igor said, PT BBI must accept all the demands of the Pondok Kelor residents.

“We asked PT BBI to repair the cracked walls of residents’ houses which were allegedly caused by PT BBI project activities. I also asked PT BBI to accept and realize all our demands,” he said angrily.

Igor said that he and other residents did not reject development in their area. However, Igor said, PT BBI or the developer must follow existing regulations or regulations.

“We also want development in developed areas, but don’t just build buildings as you please. You have to pay attention to the environment and local residents who are affected by the development,” he said.

In the same location, another resident of Pondok Kelor Village, Nanda, expressed a similar complaint. He said the vibrations from the heavy equipment caused the walls of his house to crack and the roof of his house to shift.

“The walls of my house cracked, and the roof of my house shifted, it was suspected that there were vibrations from PT BBI project activities, I asked for everything that was damaged to be repaired,” he said.

Nanda also asked for water channels to be built and repaired, as well as maintenance of the PT BBI area which is filled with trees and grass, so that venomous animals do not enter and disturb nearby residential areas.

“We asked for a one meter wide water channel to be built and maintained, so that during the rainy season we are not flooded. Then the trees and grass in the PT BBI area were cleaned, because our house has always been invaded by snakes,” he said.

Responding to complaints and complaints from residents of Pondok Kelor Village, Deputy Chair of the Tangerang Regency DPRD, PDI-P Fraction, H Kholid Ismail, urged them to immediately resolve all residents’ complaints within one week.

“We ask that this problem be resolved within the next week. The developer must be responsible,” he stressed.

He also confirmed that he would again invite the sub-district and related agencies to a follow-up RDP so that problem solving could be carried out comprehensively.

Apart from that, Kholid reminded the relevant agencies to bring Environmental Impact Analysis (Amdal) documents, including supporting regulations such as site plan composition or building layout to the next meeting.

The Tangerang Regency DPRD is committed to guarding the aspirations of residents until the problem of damage to houses caused by the project gets a clear and pro-community solution.

Meanwhile, PT BBI, Joko promised to repair all the cracks in the walls of the houses of Pondok Kelor Village residents affected by the project. And fulfill all the demands of the residents of Pondok Kelor Village.

“We are ready to repair the cracked walls of residents’ houses, we have even given some residents money for repairs. We will also try to realize the demands that have been submitted in stages,” he said.

The following are 8 demands from the residents of Pondok Kelor Village:

1. Repair cracked walls of houses affected by the PT BBI project.
2. Eliminate loud vibrations and noise from concrete pile driving activities and heavy tonnage vehicles carrying soil and materials for PT BBI projects.
3. Make a 1 meter wide water channel under the side of the PT BBI wall until the final drain.
4. Distribute targeted CSR programs to the community.
5. Submit pasos fasum.
6. Heavy tonnage cars carrying soil and materials are prohibited from operating during the month of Ramadan in accordance with the Tangerang Regent’s regulations.
7. Residents are allowed to cross the entrance bridge access and the PT BBI area.
8. Improve the security system at PT BBI.
