Cultural Exploration Community Welcomes Jakarta as Encouraged to Become a Cinema City
JAKARTA, POSKOTA.CO.ID – The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) delegation is exploring film investment cooperation with Goldfinch International Ltd. while attending the 79th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on Thursday, May 14 2026.
This exploration is part of efforts to strengthen the Jakarta film ecosystem towards a cinema city that is competitive and connected to global industrial networks.
Cultural Exploration Community, Kartum Setiawan, believes that the DKI Provincial Government’s steps in pushing Jakarta towards a Cinema City is a very good step, one of which is to introduce historical locations in Jakarta.
“In terms of films, you can use the Kota Tua area, especially the buildings, for public space activities for the film,” said Kartum via short message to Poskota, Tuesday, May 18 2026.

Based on historical background, the first public space as a cinema or cinema was previously in Jakarta. Therefore, Kartum considers that Jakarta being pushed to become a Cinema City is very relevant.
“Later in its development, many cinemas in Jakarta grew and developed in various classes. Even the names of several places in Jakarta were inspired by the names of old cinemas,” he explained.
On the other hand, Kartum said that Jakarta being pushed to become a Cinema City would also likely have a positive impact on opening up job opportunities for the community.
“One thing that creates a lot of jobs is film production,” he said.

Because, Kartum said, for a film production to be made, of course it requires time and human energy. This is an opportunity to create jobs.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
