Warnings Not Heeded, Retail Petrol Traders in West Jakarta Prize Park Controlled



JAKARTA, POSKOTA.CO.ID – Retail petrol sellers at Taman Prize Utama 1 RT 11/RW 10, Jelambar Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta, were disciplined by officers, Monday, February 2 2026.

Kasatpol PP Jelambar, Sriyono, said that the retail petrol trader did not heed warnings from officers not to sell in public facilities.

The ordering is a follow-up to Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 8 of 2007 concerning Public Order.

“We have given verbal warnings and given letters of appeal and warnings 1, 2 and 3 to PKL petrol traders (PKL) but they were not heeded, so we are taking firm action to bring order,” confirmed Sriyono, Monday, February 2 2026.

A total of 29 officers consisting of 25 Jelambar PPSU personnel and four Jelambar Village Satpol PP personnel were deployed to control illegal traders.

Head of Jelambar Village, Pradista Machdala Putra, said that the control was an effort to uphold the cleanliness and beauty of Prize Park.

“Later we will return its function as a park for greening, so that residents can enjoy it safely and comfortably,” he said.
