Derivative keywords such as “KKN viral Lombok” and “KKN viral video” also recorded a spike of more than 5 percent.

This phenomenon shows the public’s high curiosity about content that is suspected of immoral content.

Arrest Photo Circulates, Police Confirm Hoax

In the midst of the rampant hunt for viral Lombok KKN video links, a post appeared on Facebook showing a photo of a number of police officers securing two young couples in a room.

The upload was accompanied by a statement that the actors in the video had been arrested by the authorities.

However, this claim was firmly denied by the police. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for East Lombok Police, Inspector Arie Kusnandar, confirmed that the photo circulating was not related to the case being investigated.

“Currently we are still carrying out investigations. We hope that the public will not easily believe the information circulating on social media,” said Arie, Thursday, February 12 2026.

Police emphasized that up to now there have been no arrests of any party. The investigation process is still ongoing to ascertain the actual facts regarding the video.
