Tangerang Police and Journalists Distribute Takjil and Basic Food in Ramadan

MediaBantenCyber.co.id (MBC), Tangerang — Tangerang Police together with the Working Group (Pokja) of Journalists and members of the press held a Ramadan Sharing activity by distributing basic necessities to cleaning staff and takjil to the community, Tuesday (10/3/2026).

This social activity is a form of concern as well as synergy between the police and members of the press in helping the community in the holy month of Ramadan.

The series of activities began with the distribution of basic food aid to cleaning workers on duty along Jalan Baru Puspemkab Tangerang. This assistance was given as a form of appreciation to the officers who maintain the cleanliness of the environment every day.

Furthermore, Tangerang Police officers together with journalists distributed takjil to road users in the Tangerang Regency Government Welcome Gate area. The distribution of takjil was greeted enthusiastically by people who passed by before the time to break the fast.

The Ramadan Sharing activity was then closed with a joint breaking of the fast event between the Tangerang Police and members of the press at the Al-Latief Mosque, Tangerang Police.

Tangerang Police Chief Kombes Pol Andi Muhammad Indra Waspada Amirullah said that this activity was a form of togetherness between the National Police and members of the press in sharing with the community in the holy month of Ramadan.

“This activity is a form of concern and togetherness between the National Police and members of the press to share with the community,” he said.

According to him, through the Ramadan Sharing activity, the National Police and journalists not only synergize in conveying information to the public, but also present real actions of social concern.

Indra Waspada added that cleaning officers have an important role in keeping the environment clean and comfortable for the community.

“Through this activity we want to express our appreciation and share happiness in the month of Ramadan,” he said.

He also emphasized that the relationship between the Tangerang Police and members of the press has been well established and is an important part of conveying information to the public.

“The media is a strategic partner for the National Police in conveying various information to the public,” he said.

Meanwhile, Chair of the Tangerang Police Journalists Working Group, Sangki Wahyudin, appreciated the Tangerang Police for involving members of the press in this social activity.

According to him, this activity was a momentum to strengthen togetherness while fostering a spirit of sharing with the community.

“This is a form of positive synergy between the Tangerang Police and fellow journalists,” he said.

He hopes that social activities like this can continue to be carried out in the future as a form of mutual concern for people in need. (*)
