Hold Patrols to Prevent Drugs and Thugism
MediaBantenCyber.co.id – (MBC) Tangerang City, In order to anticipate security and public order (Kamtibmas) disturbances, the Karawaci Police-Tangerang City Metro Police routinely hold night patrols with Trantib and Pokdar Kamtibmas.
Karawaci Police Chief Commissioner Kresna Ajie Perkasa said that his party continues to carry out patrols by combing the streets to locations deemed prone to crime as well as residential areas in the area.
“Our patrol activities are focused on preventing C3 crimes (Curas, Curat, Curanmor), drug abuse, and acts of thuggery, by carrying out stationary raids at various points in the area,” said the Sector Police Chief, Sunday (24/5/2026).
Kresna revealed that this routine patrol is part of the Tangerang City Metro Resort’s ongoing efforts to maintain security stability in the region. By checking vehicles and giving advice to always be careful when carrying out activities at night so you don’t become a victim of crime.
“This is an effort to maintain public order and security. We (police.ed) invite the community’s active cooperation to create a safe and comfortable environment for all,” he explained.
We are doing this in line with the direction of the Metro Jaya Police Chief and the Tangerang City Metro Police Chief regarding maintaining the security and comfort of the community in the area from street crime.
“Through an active presence in the field and direct interaction with the community, we hope to continue to increase the community’s sense of security and trust in the police,” he explained.
Police Commissioner Kresna said that throughout the patrol this time his party did not find any crime and the security and social security situation was safe.
“Thank God, the security and social security situation in the Karawaci police jurisdiction is safely under control. All this is also thanks to community cooperation in protecting the area,” he said.
He also emphasized that anyone who commits acts of crime or thuggery that harm other people will be dealt with firmly.
“Our commitment to the community is to maintain security and social order, if anyone experiences a crime, they will be dealt with firmly in accordance with applicable law,” he concluded.
