Banten Regional Police Chief Achieves Satyalancana Wira Karya, SPPG Serves 34 Thousand Beneficiaries


MediaBantenCyber.co.id (MBC), Attack — Another proud achievement was made by the Head of the Banten Regional Police, Inspector General of Police. Hengki, SIK, MH, who received the Satyalancana Wira Karya Honorary Medal from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. The awarding took place at SPPG Palmerah West Jakarta Police, Friday (13/02/2026).

This award was given as a form of appreciation for dedication and real contribution in the development of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG), an innovative program that aims to improve the quality of public health, especially vulnerable groups such as students, toddlers, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, in order to reduce stunting and malnutrition rates.

From the initial target of 18 units, the Banten Regional Police have now developed and prepared 76 SPPG location points. In detail, 12 units are operational, 11 units are in the operational preparation stage, and 53 units are still in the construction process. On this occasion, 12 SPPG units were inaugurated and officially operational, while 15 other units carried out ground breaking.

Currently, the Banten Regional Police SPPG has served 160 schools consisting of 56 kindergartens, 64 elementary schools, 25 junior high schools/equivalents, 13 high schools/equivalents, and 2 Islamic boarding schools. The total number of beneficiaries reached 34,381 people, including 30,014 students, 3,408 group B3 (pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and toddlers), and 959 santri.

In the future, when all SPPG units are fully operational, this program is targeted to be able to reach 690 schools with a total of 228,313 beneficiaries. This number consists of 195,600 students, 8,805 santri, and 23,908 group B3.

Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police, Police Commissioner Maruli Ahiles Hutapea, said that the award was the result of collective work from all levels of the Banten Regional Police.

“The Satyalancana Wira Karya award received by the Regional Police Chief is a form of state appreciation for his dedication and innovation in presenting the SPPG program which directly touches the basic needs of the community. This is not only pride for him, but also pride for the entire Banten Regional Police family,” he said.

He added that the SPPG is a concrete manifestation of the National Police’s commitment to supporting the government’s strategic programs in the fields of health and community development.

“SPPG is proof that the National Police is present not only as a security guard, but also as a development partner. Providing good nutrition is the foundation for creating a healthy, intelligent and productive generation. We want to ensure that the benefits of this program are truly felt by people in need,” he added.

By winning this award, the Banten Regional Police are increasingly motivated to continue to provide public service innovations that are humane, solutions, and have a direct impact on the welfare of the community. In the future, expanding the reach of SPPG and strengthening cross-sector collaboration will continue to be carried out in order to create a healthy, strong and competitive Banten society. (*)
