As a result of extreme weather, BPBD Lebak recorded 42 residents’ houses damaged
LEBAK, POSKOTA.CO.ID – The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Lebak Regency, Banten recorded that 42 houses belonging to residents were damaged due to extreme weather.
Head of BPBD Lebak, Sukanta, revealed that from data recorded since early December 2025, 42 houses had been damaged due to extreme weather.
“The recorded data is based on reports we received during the entry into December,” said Sukanta, Friday 19 December 2025.
Sukanta said that of the total of 42 houses the causes of damage were different, some were hit by fallen trees, shifting ground and were hit by strong winds.

“Most of it is land shifting and falling trees, in terms of conditions, there is heavy, light to moderate damage,” he said.
According to Sukanta, the affected residents will be provided with assistance by BPBD Lebak. Meanwhile, the handling of stimulants is carried out by the Lebak Social Service (Dinsos).
“We provide logistical assistance according to our capabilities at BPBD. The stimulants are at the Social Service,” he said.
Sukanta added, based on the BMKG release, that there were seeds of tropical cyclone 93S that hit the Banten area.

“Later the impact will cause rain accompanied by strong winds,” he said.
