Tangerang Regency Government’s Free Homecoming 2026: Schedule, How to Register, and Invitation from the Chairman of the DPRD to Residents
MediaBantenCyber.co.id (MBC), Tangerang — The Tangerang Regency Government’s 2026 free homecoming program will be held again ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. Chairman of the Tangerang Regency DPRD, Muhamad Amud, invited residents to immediately find out the schedule and how to register so they can take advantage of the free transportation facility.
Amud conveyed this invitation when visiting hundreds of residents at Pondok Aspiration, Sukatani Village, Rajeg District, Wednesday (4/2/2026). He emphasized that the free homecoming program facilitated by the Tangerang Regency Transportation Service (Dishub) is routinely implemented every year to help people return home safely, comfortably and at no cost.
“The Tangerang Regency Government holds free homecoming every year. Please make the best use of this program for residents who want to spend Eid in their hometown,” said Amud.
According to him, registration was opened about two weeks before Eid al-Fitr so that people could adjust their departure schedule. Information regarding registration requirements and mechanisms has also been disseminated through mass media and official regional government social media.
In this activity, Amud, who is also a Golkar Party functionary, also emphasized the importance of maintaining the cohesion and solidity of cadres, especially the Beringin Heroines in residential areas. This gathering, he said, was part of the consolidation as well as appreciation for the cadres’ dedication so far.
“Today we started our friendship with cadres in the housing complex, then to all cadre bases until just before Eid,” he said.
He targets that 6,000 cadres in Electoral District (Dapil) 4 which includes Rajeg, Sukamulya and Pasar Kemis subdistricts can be visited before Eid al-Fitr.
Encourage Family Economic Resilience
This activity was also attended by a member of the Golkar faction of the DPR RI, Andi Achmad Dara, who was carrying out a working visit to the Greater Tangerang electoral area.
On that occasion, Andi Dara invited residents, especially mothers, to revive the culture of farming on their own land as an effort to deal with potential inflation and rising prices of basic commodities due to global economic uncertainty.
He believes that the role of housewives is very strategic in maintaining the family’s economic stability. Residents are also encouraged to use limited land to grow basic necessities such as chilies and tomatoes and raise laying hens.
“This culture needs to be revived so that we are not completely dependent on the market,” he said.
Apart from that, he added that the government continues to improve subsidy governance so that it is more targeted, including synchronizing customer data for 450 watt electricity and fertilizer distribution. Efficiency of central and regional budgets is also being sought so that village funds and social assistance can be absorbed on time without bureaucratic obstacles. (*)
