SPK IIMS 2026 Reaches 2,400 Units, Mitsubishi Prepares Local Hybrid Production
JAKARTA, POSKOTA.CO.ID – PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) opened 2026 with high optimism amidst pressure from the national automotive market. Sales stability is still maintained, especially thanks to the contribution of models in the compact SUV segment.
President Director of Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia, Atsushi Kurita, said that the two flagship models, namely the Mitsubishi Destinator and Mitsubishi Xforce, continue to be the main pillars of the company’s sales.
According to Kurita, total orders for the two models have exceeded 10,000 units by December 2025. This figure is considered to show that the competitiveness of Mitsubishi products is still strong in its class.
“Market demand is still quite strong. If we look back, at the beginning of its launch we even controlled a market share of up to 70 percent. This proves that the specifications we offer are very relevant to the needs of consumers in Indonesia,” he said.

IIMS’s achievements are considered positive
Positive performance was also seen when Mitsubishi participated in the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). At this annual automotive exhibition, MMKSI recorded around 2,400 Vehicle Order Letters (SPK).
Even though the initial target was set at 3,000 SPK, the results are still said to be encouraging considering that economic conditions have not yet fully recovered.
“I think the achievement of 2,400 units at IIMS is quite good. This shows that public trust in the Mitsubishi brand remains high even though competition is getting tougher,” he said.
Prepare Local Hybrid Production
Strong sales of conventional engine vehicles (ICE) are the foundation for Mitsubishi to move into the next phase, namely electrification.
