The perpetrator of the abuse of 12 boys in Tangerang was arrested by the police
TANGERANG, POSKOTA.CO.ID – A man with the initials RH, a resident of Tigaraksa District, Tangerang Regency, was arrested by the PPA Unit of the Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit after allegedly sexually assaulting 12 teenage boys.
Tangerang Police Chief Commissioner Pol Andi Muhammad Indra Waspada said the case was discovered after one of the victims reported it on April 30 2026.
“On April 16 2026, the victim was called by the suspect to help carry goods to his house,” he said, Thursday, May 7 2026.
When he arrived at the location, the victim allegedly experienced immoral acts from the perpetrator. The perpetrator is said to have touched the victim’s genitals and grabbed the victim’s body when he tried to fight back.

“The perpetrator threatened the victim not to tell anyone about the incident. Because he was afraid, the victim finally told his mother about the incident,” he said.
Knowing this, the victim’s mother immediately reported what happened to her child to the RT and police.
“Five children experienced physical abuse, while seven others experienced non-physical or verbal abuse,” he explained.
From the results of the interim examination, it was discovered that RH first committed harassment during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021.
“Currently RH has been named a suspect and is being detained at the Tangerang Police Detention Center. RH is charged with Article 82 of the Child Protection Law and Article 5 of the Sexual Violence Crime Law with a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison,” he concluded.
