Ahead of Nataru, the road to the tourist area in Pandeglang will be repaired

PANDEGLANG, POSKOTA.CO.ID – Approaching the 2025 and 2026 Christmas holidays (Nataru), the Pandeglang Road and Bridge Management UPT (PJJ) at the Banten Public Works Spatial Planning Service (PUPR), is making various preparations.

Acting Head of UPT PJJ Pandeglang at the Banten PUPR Service, Yan Ardiansyah Achmad, revealed that in preparation for Nataru, his party is currently carrying out repairs on roads leading to tourist areas.

“There are several roads that are our focus ahead of Christmas. These include the Mengger-Caringin route, Mandalawangi-Ujung Tebu, the City route, Jalan Ahmad Yani Labuan and Tanjung Lesung-Sumur,” he said, Tuesday 16 December 2025.

He said that handling of these road sections had started at the end of last month, and was targeted for completion on December 22 2025.

“Our target is to handle the roads leading to this tourist area by December 22. So that the roads under the authority of the Banten DPUPR will be comfortable for motorists to pass,” he said.

He admitted that in preparation for Nataru, his party had previously carried out an inspection of the roads leading to the tourist area.

“Where, when someone experiences damage, it is immediately handled to provide a sense of security and comfort to road users,” he said.

In the same place, Head of UPT PJJ Pandeglang, at the PUPR Banten Service, Samsul Hidayat said, in preparation for this Christmas, apart from handling roads leading to tourist areas, UPT PJJ also alerted hundreds of personnel for disaster management.

This was done considering that currently it is the rainy season. So, if a flood or landslide disaster occurs that impacts the road, it can be handled quickly.
